Tutor of Danish wanted urgently in order to continue a one-to one intensive course in Danish at the Institute for Applied Language Studies, Edinburgh, from 1st of March to +/- 31st  of May.

Tutors should be native speakers of Danish and preferably have some language teaching experience, not necessarily in Danish as a foreign language. Ongoing tutor and learner support will be provided.

Danish Tutor Wanted - University of Glasgow

The Department of Adult and Continuing Education at the University of Glasgow offers a variety of languages and for many years this included Danish. This academic year is the first in a long time without Danish. Our previous tutor, Pia, no longer wanted to continue.

For session 2008/9 we hope to offer it again and any potential tutor (native / non - native ) should follow link and download an application form.

I am hoping to combine a family holiday with an arts residency, and therefor asking if anyone in the danish/scottish society has a house/apartment I can rent cheaply in Copenhagen or even on Sealand for the period of mid-may to mid June or even a part of that time.

Hoping some one has something to offer or a connection so its an affordable option.

A group of Danish mums/dads and children (0-7yrs) meet up on a regular basis in Edinburgh, either in Tollcross Community Centre or at some other child-friendly venue. This is a chance for the children to hear and speak some Danish and maybe sing a few Danish songs.
