Tutor of Danish wanted urgently in order to continue a one-to one intensive course in Danish at the Institute for Applied Language Studies, Edinburgh, from 1st of March to +/- 31st of May. Tutors should be native speakers of Danish and preferably have some language teaching experience, not necessarily in Danish as a foreign language. Ongoing tutor and learner support will be provided. The Department of Adult and Continuing Education at the University of Glasgow offers a variety of languages and for many years this included Danish. This academic year is the first in a long time without Danish. Our previous tutor, Pia, no longer wanted to continue.

We have recieved this request from society member, Ingrid Bell: I am hoping to combine a family holiday with an arts residency, and therefor asking if anyone in the danish/scottish society has a house/apartment I can rent cheaply in Copenhagen or even on Sealand for the period of mid-may to mid June or even a part of that time.
